Debris is scattered in the crash area of Spanair’s Flight JK5022, an MD-82 jet bound for Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, which crashed on takeoff and burst into flames at Madrid airport on Wednesday, killing 153 of the people on board, in this video grab released August 21st, 2008.
The UPS truck finally arrived with the package we had been waiting for all week. The new wind screens for our #Piaggio scooters. Except there was only one in the box and so now I get to wait until we straighten out another mess. I just hope we can get the other one shipped to us without any trouble because the store evidently thinks they shipped us two in one box and they didn’t.
Tracey and I took the short one off her bike and put the new on. It wasn’t too hard but we did have some fun removing some rubber grommets and bushings from the old wind screen to move them over to the bolt holes on the new one.
We took a ride to town for supper and she is really impressed with how much quieter it is without all the wind blowing into her chest, neck and head.
