Heavy equipment starts to move boats and other debris off of Rt.45 in Galveston, Texas. US President George W. Bush was set to meet with his top disaster relief aides to discuss assistance to victims of Hurricane Ike. Duh-bya is a day late and a dime short ... as usual.  The fool knew the hurricane was going to destroy the area a week ago according to forecasts and he is just now “discussing assistance”.  So that means another week before they GET assistance.  Complete incompetence.

Hillbilly in the Army
A Carolina hillbilly, Herman James, was drafted by the Army, and on the first day as an enlisted man, he was given a comb.  The following day, the Army barber sheared all of his hair off.

On the third day, the Army gave him a toothbrush.  The next day, the Army dentist yanked several of his teeth out.

On the fifth day, he was given a jock strap.  That afternoon, Herman disappeared, and the Army is still looking for him.

There are a couple things that continue to amaze me about our hurricane season.  Again thousands of people stay in the path of the hurricane and seem surprised when they get in trouble?  And our stupid government waits for a couple days AFTER the hurricane strikes to start TALKING about what they MIGHT do about it.  This kind of viral stupidity seems to have taken over our country.  It is this same insanity that drives almost half our country to support McSame and his new heart throb Pale.  They are PROMISING to continue the same policies that are ruining our country, PROMISING to continue the two wars we have and possibly start a couple more with Iran and Russia, and they LIE like there is no tomorrow.  If they are brazen enough to continue lying in the face of the obvious truth then what will they be lying about if they get in office and can cover everything up?  I am worried about our country.  Really.  I don’t know if it is something in the water or space aliens ... but the video of all those idiots standing on top of their houses in Texas after they knew a hurricane was coming right straight at them ... well what can I say but that they must be willfully STUPID!
