I received the following information from my good friend Jeff.  He works at the Central Illinois Ag Lab where some of the scientists will be featured in a segment of the History Channel show Modern Marvels.  Just in case you might want to watch:
Hello Everyone,

I am very excited to announce the airdate and time for Modern Marvels:

Mold and Fungus.  The show will be premiering on the History Channel:

Thursday, September 18th:
9:00 pm (Eastern/Pacific Times)
8:00 pm (Central Time)
7:00 pm (Mountain Time)

It is also currently scheduled to re-air on Saturday, September 20th:
7:00 pm (Eastern/Pacific Times)
6:00 pm (Central Time)
5:00 pm (Mountain Time)

It will also be re-airing after that, although I do not have those dates.  Please check your local television directory as well, as the times may differ for those with certain satellite providers.  You can also visit the History Channel website for further information.

On A Hot Tin Roof?

A man left his cat with his brother while he went on vacation for a week.  When he came back, the man called his brother to see when he could pick the cat up.  The brother hesitated, then said, “I’m so sorry, but while you were away, the cat died.”

The man was very upset and yelled, “You know, you could have broken the news to me better than that.  When I called today, you could have said he was on the roof and wouldn’t come down.  Then when I called the next day, you could have said that he had fallen off and the vet was working on patching him up.  Then when I called the third day, you could have said he had passed away.”

The brother thought about it and apologized.

“So how’s Mom?” asked the man.

“She’s on the roof and won’t come down.”

Man that John McSame is a lying sack of dog turds!  He has been screeching DEREGULATION! throughout his entire political career and suddenly when Wall Street crumbles he spins around and announces he is a REFORMER.  Oddly enough the lying liar still has some of the worst lobbyists in Washington advising his campaign, including Phil Graham who helped deregulate Wall St.  These jerks and morons are directly responsible for the financial carnage all around the world and suddenly they are going to fix it!?  Good Grief!  All I can say is that if America is stupid, yes STUPID enough to elect this creep than they better not cry when their 401K tanks and their pensions go belly up.  And don’t forget what will happen to Social Security when he feeds that to the Wall Street wolves too.
