Obummer with his grandparents, Stanley Armour Dunham and Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham in New York City, during a visit with Obummer, who was a student at Columbia University. Obummer is canceling nearly all his campaign events Thursday and Friday, Oct. 23rd and 24th, 2008 to fly to Hawaii to visit his suddenly ill 86-year-old grandmother.

I have been TERRIBLE about keeping up with my blog! I guess there just isn’t all that much going on around here and I hardly trust myself to comment on the political garbage going on.

The crap spewing forth from McMaim / Failin is just unbelievable. I really am concerned where our country is at and where it is going when people actually believe the smears their campaign have been spreading. Disgusting to think people would actually believe someone running for President would be a terrorist.

The weather has been getting cold enough to make riding my scooter a bit uncomfortable so I finally took a trip to the big city yesterday and bought myself a warm leather jacket for riding.

It was the first time I rode the scooter to Peoria and it was a bit exciting trying to keep the cars from running me over. I never would have thought as big as I am that I would be invisible on a scooter but it must be so judging by the number of times people turn in front of me.

Tracey’s scooter is still without a rear tire. The only shop we found in the area that would change a 12 inch wheel and tire has a busted part on their tire changer and they still haven’t got the part delivered. Her scooter has been sitting in the garage since last Tuesday. We hope they can get the tire changed today but aren’t holding our breath.

I’ve been getting a lot of spam lately and have been trying to block the ring tone ads etc. If you get a message saying you are not allowed to post please send an email and I will try to fix it!
