 | Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) steps off his campaign plane carrying a Halloween pumpkin, at Chicago Midway Airport, October 31, 2008. |
Advise Please DEAR ABBY: I have always wanted to have my family history traced, but I cant afford to spend a lot of money to do it. Any suggestions? Sam in California. DEAR SAM: Yes. Run for public office. |
The weather just keeps getting better ... I love it! I met Michael T. in town yesterday for a late breakfast. He had something he wanted to do early in the morning so we had breakfast a couple hours later than usual. It just made my scooter ride that much more fun. We talked a lot about politics and our shared concern about whether the GOP will be able to steal another election again. We shall see come Tuesday if Obama can win by enough they cant subvert it through voter fraud. (I have to say I am more worried about this prospect than Michael or anyone else I know ... paranoid I guess. But just because Im paranoid doesnt mean they arent out to get me!) Tracey had to work all day yesterday so I was free to do some scootering again. The temperature got up into the upper 70s, perfect T-shirt weather even on the scooter. I ran a few errands in Tremont and went into Pekin to buy some sandwiches for supper. Lazy, lazy Dad! |

I dont care to use the term worried, but I am not sure if I am any less concerned than you are about them stealing another election, it seems to be a very real possibility, but I have the Audacity to Hope. :-) |

| Man dont you know it! I actually think I am invisible! I just cant believe the way people turn in front of me, etc. Its not like Im some tiny little wallflower ... you would think they could see a 400 pound man on a scooter. Maybe a I should get a day-glo clown suit to wear? |
