Wanting to be someone you’re not is a waste
of the person you are.

Forgotten Anniversary

Ron was in big trouble with his wife.  He forgot his wedding anniversary.  Naturally his wife was livid.  She told him, “Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 seconds!!  AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!”

The next morning Ron got up early and left for work.  When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house.  She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Ron has been missing since Friday.

I finally saw gas under $2. It was for 1.96... I’m liking it! :)

Hi Kyle,
I would feel better if it were down around 90 cents a gallon where it belongs but I will settle for what we can get!
MjL 07 Nov 2008, 07:22 a.m.
Actually, I calculated it out and one gallon of gasoline costs $1.96 to produce/transport right now.  $1.45 of that is the cost of simply purchasing the barrels of crude ($61.04 per barrel right now, with 42 gallons in each), and then it costs roughly $.24 to refine and $.27 to transport.  Anything on top of that is taxes.  In order for gas to get back down to $.90 a gallon like you think it should be, you’re going to have to convince OPEC to give us enough oil to drop the cost per barrel of crude down to $20.  And to think, I hate math :P.  By the way, gas here is still $2.40, so consider yourselves lucky
