In the end, our society will be defined not only
by what we create but by what we refuse to destroy.

The new Metro M2 passes under the bridge Pont Bessiere in front of the in blue illuminated cathedral in Lausanne, Switzerland, to mark World Diabetes Day on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008.  The cathedral is one of 18 monuments in Switzerland and 989 monuments worldwide taking part in the International Diabetes Federation’s Monument Challenge.
Buy Two, They’re Small

A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at the grocery store, but couldn’t find one big enough for her family for Thanksgiving.  She asked a stock boy, “Do these turkeys get any bigger?”

The stock boy replied, “No ma’am, they’re dead.”

Picture from Noah ... a photo of a picture they took at Flagstaff and put on their wall.  That is not really a door in the forest but a reflection when the picture was taken of the picture.

I had intended to blog an update on the high school reunion and never got to it.  I had a very good time except for the high volume of the band they had playing.  It was so loud it made my ears ring and my throat was sore from having to yell to be heard.  I know some of the friends sitting at our table left earlier than they might have simply because the noise gave them a headache.  I’m not a prude when it comes to music or dancing, but I didn’t go to the reunion to dance or listen to music.  The turnout was great for the high school reunion ... not so too good for the jr-high school reunion.  I picked up a couple email addresses for some who did show so I can contact them in the future.

I will be putting up a (very) few photos from the reunion.  I didn’t do a very good job of picture taking but I did get a few.  I should have them up in a few days.
