The full moon rises over Fayetteville, NC, on Friday, Dec. 12th, 2008. Friday night’s full moon was the closest full moon of 2008, appearing larger and brighter than any full moon this year.

Tracey and I had planned to take a scooter ride yesterday since the weather was warming up, but we decided not to because it was still so windy and wet. Now the temperatures are in the single digits so we won’t be riding any time soon!

Ben & Aaron went to an electronic game contest yesterday and won again. Aaron has been consistently winning something at these contests and Ben got in on the action too this time. I guess those hours of playing computer games weren’t completely wasted?

We will find out in the next few hours if the ice, snow, wind and frigid temps will be bad enough to get a day off from school. I know the boys went to bed with their fingers crossed hoping for a horrible blizzard!
