That ice storm finally got here and what a mess! Tracey’s cell phone went off about 3:30 this morning. One of her clinic employees couldn’t make it from Peoria ... so we had to scrape the Blazer down and I took Tracey in. The roads were bad but not horrible. It looked like they had been given at least one swipe with a plow and some salt down. The temperature was hovering right at 32 so it was at least trying to melt. I got her to work in time and made it back home without mishap ... but it wasn’t much fun. I think the roads will be fine by this afternoon when I go to pick her up because it is supposed to warm up even more.

I went back to bed and then the phones started going off again with the school’s automated calling system letting us know that school had been cancelled for today. I got four phone calls altogether with two on my cell phone and two on the house phone. Evidently we get extra cause we got two kids going? Aaron and Ben didn’t have to go today anyway because it is non-mandatory finals day and their grades are already great so they won’t be taking finals.
