Former FBI official Mark Felt stands with his daughter Joan Felt, May 2005 in Santa Rosa, California. Felt, the secret informant Deep Throat in the Watergate scandal that led to the downfall of president Richard Nixon in 1974, has died, the Washington Post said Friday. He was 95. |
Organic Vegetables The other day, it was my turn to prepare dinner, so I asked my wife to go over to the local market and buy some organic vegetables. She came back rather upset. When I asked her what was wrong, she said, I dont think I like that produce guy. I went and looked around for your organic vegetables and I couldnt find any. So I asked him where the organic vegetables were. He didnt know what I was talking about, so I said, These vegetables are for my husband. Have they been sprayed with any poisonous chemicals? And he said, No, maam. Youll have to do that yourself. |
| We got cleared out from under the ice storm and I went to town yesterday afternoon to buy some food. The boys are home for the next two weeks and we are going to need something for them to gnaw on. The timing was right too because just as I was finishing at the store Tracey called to let me know she was done with work so I picked her up without another trip to town. A short nap was necessary after we got home and the groceries put away ... we were up awful early yesterday morning! |
