An employee works at Takeshiro Kogyo Co., a subcontractor making parts for Toyota Motor Corp, in Akubi Town, central Japan December 25th, 2008. Toyota shock has hit Japan’s car manufacturing district, leaving factories and small businesses reeling as orders dry up due to a global recession that has put the brakes on car sales worldwide.

I see the power brokers in Washington finally decided to “let” Roland Burris be a Senator. I’m actually a little surprised they actually followed the law and recognized that the Senate leadership is not supposed to pick and choose our representatives for us. Still, the only reason he was allowed in was because he wouldn’t give up and go away after all their threats and theatrics. God Bless America.

We got some snow last night —— it is still too dark out there for me to see if I need to haul out the monster snow blower or if I can wait and let it melt on it’s own.

I’ll vote for waiting if we can get the cars through it.

Any news from Colorado? I’ve just been wondering how things went yesterday....
