Airline passengers wait to board a ferry to be rescued on the wings of a US Airways Airbus 320 jetliner that safely ditched in the frigid waters of the Hudson River in New York, Thursday Jan. 15th, 2009 after a flock of birds knocked out both its engines. All 155 people on board survived.
Aaron & Ben have been home the past couple days because of the bitter cold and weather but that has not stopped them from inviting friends to spend time with them preparing for a video game contest this weekend. Last night we had two more overnight gaming away their youth while us old folk Mom & Dad went off to bed.
I think they were up until 2 or 3 a.m. before bedding down for the night. They have the tournament around noon today and I hope these warriors are sufficiently trained to conquer!
Tracey is off to work again this morning she wont be home for at least another 14 hours. She had one of her staff call off because her furnace quit working sounds like a good reason to be late to me! I hope she can find somebody to fix it for her in this latest deep freeze.
Still no word from the Thomas family in Boulder I sent an email yesterday but no reply as yet. That may not be the best form of communication anyway. I am reluctant to call because I just know it wake someone napping or something and I hate to be a pest.
