Good morning. Guess what...Dave called Whirlpool and I think he got our friends cousin! Dave asked him to repeat lots of things! We still have no hot water and really havent decided why. Dave is leaning towards thermocouple (excuse spelling). Looks like no hot water for a day or two! Oh boy, just love those cold showers!
Dave and Andy made it home finally. I guess they decided to see some sights while in Chicago. They went to the John Hancock building. They rode the subway too. The concert was fabulous. Im glad they had fun. Now its back to the school and work routine for everybody in this house.
Oh, Ill have to find out the name of this place in East Peoria where you can buy computer parts. Dave has bought a couple of things from there. They do alot of setting up web pages for businesses.

Wow...40 minutes to do dishes! It takes time to heat water so you can use hot water and soap to wash dishes....yuck!
I called the foreign land first thing this morning. Lucy, who is also related to those from yesterday, 1st told me it was the thermostat. I told her that wed been there, done that. So she then decided we need a new gas valve. I asked her if wed ever replaced that and she said no. I also told her that it sounded like she was just going down a list of parts until reaching one that we hadnt replaced.
Of course, overnight the part and it will be here by 4:30 Friday. Oh, but its free! I still wasnt happy so I called Whirlpool headquarters in Michigan. At least they are American! Yahoo! I told her that I wouldnt buy a Whirlpool product again if they paid me.
She told me out water heater was actually made by American Products and that they lease the Whirlpool name. She patched me through to Aaron with Amer. Prod. and he said that this part was going to fix me right up. Im so excited! This water heater is barely 4 years old! UGH!
