Lynyrd Skynyrd pianist Billy Powell, one of the longest serving members of the 1970s supergroup, has died aged 56, the band announced on its website. Powell died in his Florida home early January 28th, 2009, according to reports.
Well they finally bumped Baloneyvich out of office. Our taxes ought to start going up any day now. I also expect most of the programs he started will get harpooned. All in a routine Illinois round of political chicanery. So now the Madigans and P.Quinn can run the world like they had always hoped to but never had a hope of getting elected to do it. If you can’t win by election - get a Fed Prosecutor trying to save his own job to help out. God Bless America.
And then to Wall St. They got down on their collective knees to beg for money from us and then proceeded to hand out Billions (yes, with a Capital B!) to themselves in bonuses. And that’s just what we can see at the surface of this deep and murky pool of greed. God Bless America again.
Then to round out the whole pile of steaming snit (with an n, this is a family show!) we have K.Rove thumbing his nose at Congress (again). Will our government have the collective nerve to do anything about it? God Bless America - please.
