US construction equipment giant Caterpillar announced Monday that it intends to cut about 20,000 jobs worldwide to cope with plunging sales amid a sharp economic slowdown.
Happy Ground Hog Day! Sure hope hes ready for Spring because I am sick of paying for all the propane to heat the house!
Tracey had to work last evening so it was just Mom, DD and I who had dinner together. DD is still very frustrated with her new car search. I say new car but it may just be one that is new to her as she fears she may not be able to afford an actual brand new car.
I would have thought the car salesmen would be ready to sell to anyone who showed up what with the economy and all, but DD says they still treat you badly.
The same old walk off and leave you to stew nonsense. Etc. DD is more like me, she walks after five minutes and they can sell their junk to somebody else.

Mom bought a new car about a two months ago. She got a Ford Fusion for $14,000 plus tax, etc. It was even brand new. We have had great luck with Mike Murphy in morton(bought 2 cars from there), salesman is Paul Ekstam. He is very helpful and isnt pushy.
I have seen some better deals on new cars than the used. You would think that since the car dealerships are complaining about bad sales they would offer some deals but, they are budging one bit!

Hi Tammy! I know it now. Sheesh! I guess I cant read a calendar when it is right in front of my nose. Oh Well, maybe it will encourage an early Spring if I am eager to see his prognostication!
