I got a check in the mail yesterday so I used that as an excuse to ride my scooter to the bank. It was still a bit chilly but I had fun just the same. I will have to relearn all the habits again, like turning off the turn signal indicator after I have turned the corner.
I kept a wary eye open for the coolant leak I suspect I have. I’m pretty sure it was coming from one of the two hose connections to the water pump. I have been reading some of the comments in the #Piaggio blog and there seems to be a running discussion about the poor quality of hose clamps used causing slight leaks.
Also a small gasket on the pump cover has been accused. I think it is only going to leak when the weather is below freezing and the aluminum shrinks. We shall see. I don’t want to cut off the clamps and put on new ones until the weather warms up just a bit more to work on it.

Tracey is off to work again at 4:30 this morning but she should be able to get home in the early afternoon like she did yesterday. She has another nurse who just finished training and will be able to work more hours and she will be getting an agency nurse starting next week.
It will be nice to see Tracey around the house again for a change. The boys and I were beginning to wonder if she had moved out or something!
