The U.S. Postal Service will be cutting more than 3,000 jobs and offering nearly a quarter of its work force early retirement as part of its efforts to streamline operations amid the worsening economy, the agency said Friday. The cuts will save the post office about $100 million annually, the agency said.

Sorry Tammy —— I will always have this problem I guess because I don’t think to look at the exact astronomical occurrence of Spring, Summer, etc. —— I just go with the yearly “21st day” for each of the seasons. That’s as good as it gets for a guy who doesn’t know how many days are in each month without looking at a calendar.

Besides —— that’s what Stonehenge and places like that are for. At least I don’t need a pile of rocks to figure out what season it is!

Any way you slice it yesterday was a Beautiful Day! And I hope today will be the same. I suppose it will probably rain though. In which case I will be forced to take a nap.
