03/21/2009 Slam It!Are you old enough to remember the old car doors that were so heavy they went *Clunk* when you opened them? They sagged a bit and creaked a little they were so heavy. You had to get up some steam to get them closed.Slam it! That’s what my Dad used to say. Now the dinky door on my Blazer is that way. One of the hinges is busted and it acts like the door of 1968 Pontiac Station Wagon that weighs a ton. I should get it fixed because it will probably just fall off eventually. A two hinge door on one hinge is “almost unhinged” I guess and I seem to get along with it just fine. At least until we become totally unhinged. |
