Air BagI happened to run across an old friend in the parking lot of the local mall. I was surprised to see he was driving what appeared to be a new car. I asked him, “Is that a new car?”He replied, “No —— I just had an accident with my car and this is the rental until I get it fixed.”
I offered him my condolences and asked if he had been hurt. He replied that it hadn’t been that bad and he was OK. I asked him if the air bag had deployed, knowing that repairs would be considerably higher if it had.
He replied, “No —— she was home asleep at the time.”
