This General Motors handout shows an electric two-wheeled two-seat prototype vehicle developped by GM and Segway, which could allow people to travel around cities more quickly, safely, quietly and cleanly, and at a lower total cost. The collaboration has been dubbed Project PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility).
This issue was the only reason Tracey & I went to vote —— so we could vote against this ridiculous tax. They were fairly sneaky about trying to hide it on the back of the ballot too. People are losing their jobs, homes and retirement savings and the people who are supposed to be governing to help ease this pain are still trying to swallow up more from us in taxes. I think it is time for some layoffs in the administrative ranks of some of these school districts. A dose of reality might do them some good.
Its redicilous what the principals and superintendents make! One of the teachers told me when Mr. Butts the old superintendent left, the job salary increased $20,000 for this new guy who has done nothing but spend money and run our school into debt. I actually dont care for the 10 million spending scheme for the new building. It was a total waste of money. Just another fine example of the corrupt business leaders in this country!
Oh and another waste of our tax money is the addition of full keyboard cell phones for the principals and superintendent so they can text & picture message each other. What a joke!

Personally, I think they could cut the wages of the administrators by about $40,000 a year and put that money into things the school actually needs like, oh, I don’t know, books that aren’t older than half the student body? I remember one of my books in high school saying that things were “projected for the year 1998”. They certainly don’t need full keyboard cell phones--or ‘business’ phones at all! The only person in the school who MIGHT need one is Schaidle so he could get e-mails about systems going down if he’s not in the office.
