Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing,
doing nothing, and being nothing.

Why Women Are Crabby

This little bit of humor shared by Tammy!

The French research vessel The Pourquoi Pas, carrying search submarines such as the manned submarine Nautileat pictured here, is heading from the Azores and will be in the search zone for the missing Air France plane by June 12. France’s transportation minister Dominique Bussereau said Friday that French forces have found no signs of the Airbus A330 airplane that vanished over the Atlantic and urged ‘extreme prudence’ about suspected debris taken from the ocean.

Show me a piano falling down a mineshaft and I’ll show you A-flat minor.

Yesterday was a beautiful day but I was still kind of bummed out.  I started the day with a mess on the kitchen counter ... our coffee pot has sprung a leak!  We’ve only had it for a couple years but I don’t guess they last much longer than that anymore.

I thought I had fixed the coolant leak on the scooter but found another puddle under it yesterday.  I don’t understand how it can be fine one day and not the next.

Then I tried to mow the grass and the engine started losing power.  After a while it started quitting on me.  It will start up but doesn’t want to keep running.  I’m hoping for an easy fix like a clogged fuel or air filter.  It is always something.

I almost forgot.  Tracey tells me I need to write more about Aaron & Ben so the family in Watson can keep up with them better.  There’s not a lot to say because they stay up all night playing on their computers and then sleep all day.  I did put them to work for a little while yesterday.  We had a branch fall off one our big pine trees last fall during a wind storm.  I had used the Blazer to haul it to the edge of our property and I made the boys push it and roll it the rest of the way into the tall grass along the south end of our property.  We call that “off the edge of the world”.  I also had them pick up some other limbs and sticks.  It didn’t take a half hour but you would think I had made them work all day.
