Saint Bernard dogs Katy and Salsa (R) sit on the snow after their arrival at the Great Saint Bernard mountain pass at an altitude of 2,473 meters (8,114 ft.) in the southwestern Swiss Alps June 4th, 2009. In 2005 the non-profit Barry Foundation in the southwestern town of Martigny took over the breeding kennel from the Great Saint Bernard Hospice to continue the 300-year-old tradition of breeding the famous dogs, which return to their origin on the mountain pass during the summer months.
The new batteries for my UPC arrived yesterday and I installed them last night. After charging all night I shut the power off on the system to see if the UPC would do the job it worked! I shouldnt be surprised, after all new batteries should work shouldnt they? Still, I am mildly surprised when anything goes right anymore.
I was told our lawn mower would be done yesterday. Of course it wasnt. So now it is pouring rain again and I can almost hear the grass growing.
