Obummer turned on the charm at an event in Wisconsin when an audience member told the president that his daughter Kennedy was missing school to come hear Obummer speak about healthcare reform.
I rode my scooter to Bob Evans for breakfast yesterday and discovered that corn starch coolant leak is still dripping just a little bit.
An interesting coincidence happened on my way out to the parking lot though. There was an older lady looking at my scooter and she asked me if I had bought it in Peoria. I told her there wasnt a dealer in Peoria and that I had to get it at Freeport up north.
She said there is a dealer in Peoria. #IllinoisCycle has started a dealership. That is good news!
I called Illinois Cycle later in the morning to ask if they would honor warranty work on the scooter even though I hadnt bought it from them. I never really got a straight answer. The fellow asked me to explain my problem, then took my name and phone number He told me he would call the factory people Monday and see if they had any problems with leaking coolant pumps.
I didnt pursue the issue at the time. I have until mid-July before the warranty runs out. But I have to wonder if the factory people dont have a problem does that mean I dont? I just thought it was an odd answer. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt and hope eventually he understands that I have a problem whether the factory does or not.

Bens cousin Tom called him and talked him into helping bale hay yesterday afternoon. I know Ben likes to make a little money but I know he doesnt like doing that kind of work. He is hoping to find a summer job soon.
I rode the scooter to Moms house and she had to ride with DD when we went out to eat. Mom asked me to look under her car because she has something leaking. She sure does. It looks to me like transmission fluid. I told her she should have it looked at by the garage before something more serious develops. Its always something!

Sorry Ben! Tom called Andy to help bale yesterday, but Andy couldnt help out. Andy likes to bale -- I dont know why!
Andy is with my parents in their motorhome headed for Indiana right now. They have to get some part fixed on the motorhome in Indiana. Then its off to Pennsylvania for a couple weeks. From there its a visit to Friendship, Maine! What a lucky kid!
My mom is doing some geneology research near and around her birthplace in PA. Maine is to visit some friends they met in Florida last winter. Hes a lobster fisherman with his own boat. Im sure Andy will get a taste of lobster and his boat. They are to watch the 4th of July fireworks on some island where this couple has a cabin.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I think I would like to do the motor home on the road thing too, but I also would want to come home. I dont think we could afford the motor home without selling our house to get the money to buy one. Hope they have a wonderful time and make many fine memories.

Yea, a motor home does get a little small after awhile. I forgot to mention where in PA....Hop Bottom, PA.....I just love that towns name!
It looks like a cool campground though. Its on a 5 acre lake! Im sure my dad and Andy will find plenty to do while my mom is doing her research.
