Iranian plain clothes policemen beat a person demonstrator with batons during a protest in Tehran on June 14th. Defeated Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi appeared in public on Monday for the first time since an election that has divided the nation, joining hundreds of thousands of supporters who defied a ban to stage a mass rally in Tehran.
We just discovered the sticker for Tracey’s scooter plate is due by the end of the month and we never received a notice of renewal from the state.
I called the Secretary of State’s office and was told to simply take the original hand written registration form to any place that sells stickers and get a new one.
So we went to the bank in Pekin on Court St. next to the Goodyear tire place. We got a young lady who seemed incapable of figuring out how to sell us a sticker without the pre-printed form.
And then she refused to correct any of the information and finally we had to pay in cash because they wouldn’t take a check.
It is bad enough we have to pay these ridiculous taxes and fees, they could at least try to do their jobs by keeping the red tape up to date!

I think Aaron plans on living the entire summer on the road. Last night was the 4th night in a row that he wandered home at the last minute before curfew. I’m not sure where he is going or what he is doing but I’m thinking he might have to start doing it without taking our car.
I have been working on sorting out our digital photo albums. We have used great care to save and back up our pictures but we don’t look at them as often because they need to be put in the “album”. I also discovered how to put them in the Kindle, although they have to be in gray scale. I also need to scan pictures and just never find the time to do it.

Ok, did you HAVE to put that picture up this morning!?!?! I know...I shouldn’t gripe since I asked for pictures and you are putting pictures up again. But.....
I heard rain is coming and our downspouts are still plugged. Dave is going to rent a snake today after work and see if we can fix them. I don’t want nor need rain now. I have 3 yards to mow! One of the yards is 5 acres!

Sounds like you will be busy mowing grass! I’ve got enough with my 41/2 acres —— some of which is swamp land! Hope you have a riding mower for the five acres!

Yep, the big yard is my dad’s and he has one of those BIG zero turn mowers. It really moves! It’s fun to mow his yard!
