The place where Senator John Ensign (R-NV) chose to give his press conference yesterday admitting his extra-martial affair, has some staffers laughing. If you look to his right, theres a big restrooms sign. This is humorous because Ensigns affair started in 2008, around the time he was giving Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) - who had his own restroom scandal - a very hard time about his indiscretions. Craig since served out his term and then retired, but Ensign was quoted as saying at the time implying Craig should resign: I wouldnt put myself hopefully in that kind of position, but if I was in a position like that, thats what I would do. Hes going to have to answer that for himself. It was just sort of glaring at me, laughed one staffer of the restrooms plaque.
Hi Ben it is funny. Even funnier is that PETA is complaining he shouldnt have swatted that fly!
I was surprised to see the sun yesterday afternoon and took the opportunity to send Aaron & Ben out to mow some grass. I still have about half of it yet to mow but perhaps it will stay dry until I can get the rest.
An email from Noah says they will be moving to a new apartment next month. They wanted to get closer to work. He gave me his new address but didnt have the apartment number. I will share by email when I get the entire address.
The boys didnt get to go to the video game contest in Elmwood as the storms yesterday knocked out the electricity in that area. I could tell they were really disappointed they love their video games.
Tracey had to open again today so she has already left for work. She rode her scooter even though the forecast is for rain. She has been VERY lucky about riding between rain showers. I get wet more often than she does.
She is fortunate to have somebody help this evening and will only have to work 12 hours instead of 16.

Those storms were something. A whole tree fell over behind us. I think most of it fell between the cars parked at the apartments.
The trees line the cemetery fence and they are old trees. Their roots arent really holding onto much ground.
Weird...I looked out and saw the wind whipping from the west, but the tree had to be pushed over by wind from the east. Ashleys car is parked on the side yard right in line with all of those trees. I moved it yesterday! Dave drove Andys to work since hes in Hop Bottom, PA. I will definitely check for storms before leaving a vehicle near those trees from now on!
We had 3 or 4 power surges or something last night at dinner. I thought I had lost my computer. Dave used the alternative power source switch on the back of the tower and got it going again. Whew!
Gee, what time does Traceys clinic open in the morning? Sounds way too early to me!

Tracey has to be at work by 5 a.m. to get the doors open by six.
We really lucked out this time with the storms just a few small limbs on the ground. There was a tree about a quarter-mile away that was destroyed by lightning but didnt do anything but scare the #@%* out of us!
