06/25/2009 Politicians and PremiumsI sure am getting sick of all this so-called news about politicians and their adultery. It might be of interest for a day at most, but to make it a full week news cycle is really overkill. I mean, after all, is anyone really surprised that a politician can’t be trusted?I’m also becoming more and more disappointed that there is so little reform happening with the health care issue. It would appear that not only are the prices not going to be forced into a reasonable rate, but we are going to be taxed on the “benefits” we get from employers. As if the lousy insurance I get from Caterpillar is worth anywhere near what they claim it is. The fact is they are making money on what I pay for premiums and they don’t really provide much of a benefit that I don’t pay for. I am deeply disappointed in the gutless Dimocrats and unfeeling Repuglicans who seem intent on keeping us with the most expensive health care in the world. And we certainly don’t get the best care for our money, not any more. |
