This 1958 photo released by Herman Leonard Photography, shows jazz great Duke Ellington playing the piano at the Olympia Theater in Paris. Leonard said that when he poked his camera through the curtain backstage he was happily surprised to find Ellington “bathed in celestial light”, and when he shot this picture, Ellington heard the click of the camera and gave Leonard a wink.
This is one unbelievable article. This boob actually believes putting a bunch of gossip on Facebook is “news”!
I had to post the following comment on the Journal Star comment section after reading that drivel.
People want news —— factual information —— not gossip.
Facebook is NOT journalism. It isn’t NEWS either. Delivering actual facts about real world events other than Michael Jackson in a timely basis without partisan slant would be considered news —— we haven’t seen much of that in the past 30 years.
I woke up mad about a weird dream. I was in a class room or something like that. I was supposed to be writing down ten words that rhyme with “tail”, but they could only be words that describe things that grow. What woke me up was getting mad at the guy next to me. He was somebody I had never seen before in my life (or dreams) and he was cheating off of me!
1. tail 2. whale 3. quail 4. snail 5. tale 6. nail (I probably could have gotten two words but I didn’t know if fingernail and toenail were one word or two!)
I was pondering the nail question and whether the words “male” and “female” would count when this jerk started copying off me and we got into a fist fight. I think I failed the test to boot. I’m still mad about it. Don’t you just hate when that happens!
