I was watching TV last evening and one of those commercials for some brand of blood sugar meters came on and this guy is just gushing how being able to choose from different colors helps to stay in control. What? Being diabetic doesnt rot your brain or make you instantly stupid. I made a mental note to stay away from multi-colored meters.
This will be the last day of summer vacation for Aaron & Ben they head back to school tomorrow. I can already see that dull look of impending total boredom in their eyes. I remember my senior year of high school as being the most total waste of time.
I just wanted out of there!

This isnt a good week. The kids have to go back to school and we have a funeral to go to. Daves cousin passed away early Sunday morning. (Jackies sisters daughter)
She was only 41 years old! Just not fair! She did have a 2 year long battle with cancer. At least shes not suffering any longer, but that doesnt make it any easier. Jackie and Dick are leaving TN today to come up.
Andy had his diabetic appt. yesterday. He got a thumbs up, but found out that he has an ear infection in 1 ear!
Sorry.....no pretty meters in this house!

Tammy > Sorry for the bad start of the week and my condolences for the loss of a loved one. Any death in the family is hard to take and even more so the younger they are.

I took Tracey to work this morning and we decided to stop at Bobs on the way for breakfast. We had just turned into the right lane on Court Street from Veterans and I looked up to see a guy following me in my lane.
I turned my signal on and started to go into the left lane. I habitually look to my left as I change lanes and was galvanized to anger when I see this jerk cutting me off. He had to have seen my turn signal!
I cussed a blue flame at him and at the moron witch in the car behind him who also zoomed past within inches of my rear bumper and left rear quarter panel.
I was still cussing when we pulled into the parking lot for breakfast. After breakfast and after running some errands I was coming home when I see the following on the church sign just across the street and east from the Moose Lodge:
PROFANITY IS STRONG LANGUAGE USED BY WEAK PEOPLE
My first thought, after what had preceded this morning, was Profanity is strong language used by strong people instead of BEATING SOME MORON TO DEATH WITH A TIRE IRON!
