Tracey opens the clinic this morning so she will be leaving for work soon. I feel sorry for anyone who goes to work at this awful early time of day.


I took a quick scooter ride into Pekin yesterday to visit Staples. On the way there I was riding on Allentown Rd. and saw a child’s shoe in the middle of the road and a red spot in the road. I immediately thought some kid had been hit by a car and knocked out of his shoe! As I slowed down and got closer the red stuff looked more like transmission fluid so I quit looking for a body. It was something right out of a Stephen King novel for a while there. I came back the same way and got caught behind a garbage truck. I discovered a garbage truck is way smellier when on a scooter than when in a car! Just amazing the adventures one can have on a simple ride into town.
