Tracey and I went to dinner with Mom and DD. I was very comfortable but I think the gals thought it would have been nice to have a fire. It had been a very chilly day and it was obvious the Cracked Barrel wasn’t ready to turn the heat on yet.


Our weather is indeed perplexing —— I can’t remember it ever being so mild and even downright chilly this early in the year. I hope it isn’t a portent of the weather to come this winter.


Ben helped a friend of his install some computer memory and a hard drive into his friend’s computer. The memory chips went in fine but they had some trouble with the hard drive because they didn’t have the proper connection cable. The friend’s mother still gave Ben $20 for trying to help. I thought that was nice.

I fiddled with Tracey’s phone yesterday trying to get it set up so she can connect to her Voice Mail with one button press and not have to enter the corn starch #Password.

I called the local office to ask for help and that was a huge mistake. The young lady who answered the phone was totally clueless. She obviously has no knowledge about anything but selling the darn things.

I called the #USCellular national office and reached a lady who knew immediately what I wanted and how to do it. What a relief. It is amazing how refreshing it is when you do find someone helpful and knowledgeable, it seems to be a rare thing anymore.

I wandered over to Noah’s blog as I do from time to time and noticed he is expanding his leather work to include selling it at a local shop and he has a web page showing some of his work. From what I have seen he does quality work and, not that I am prejudiced in any way, I suggest you look his way if you need a new leather belt or accessory. I’ve added a link to my menu bar at left and the one below:
