We almost forgot to take Traceys scooter in for the tire change. She bundled up warm and we drove to the west side of Peoria on Allen Rd. to drop her scooter off. It should be done by Tuesday and we will have to make the trek again. It was a much nicer ride than it was when I took mine in because I-474 has been resurfaced and doesnt have all the huge potholes I had to dodge.
We were greeted at the door of Illinois Cycle by the golden retriever, Maggie, who works there as door greeter. She is an older dog who enjoys letting people pet her and scratch her ears. She was in a bit of trouble because she went out and rolled in some chicken fat or something at the neighboring dumpster. Maggie didnt seem too worried about it though.
Mom, DD, Tracey and I went to the Cracked Barrel for supper and then back to Moms trailer. We talked at some length about how people seem to have lost their collective sense over the past couple decades when it comes to how business and corporations make silly rules and never seem to solve any of the problems they create.
