A man was driving along a dusty road on Halloween when all of a sudden he ran out of gas. The man walked to the nearest house and asked if he could get some gas. Just as he went inside the house, it started to pour rain. The owner of the house said that he could stay the night.
“But if you go into the garage,” he said, “There is a monster there. No matter what you do, don’t touch it.”
The man agreed to this, and went up to the guestroom. The man was curious, so he went down to the garage, and there, sure enough was the monster. It was huge and ugly. The man thought that he’d see what would happen if he threw something at him. So he picked up a rock and threw it at the monster. Nothing happened. The man made a horrible face at him and nothing happened. The man tried calling him names. Still nothing happened.
Then the man reached over and touched the monster.
Up the monster jumped and started chasing after the man. The monster chased the man all over the countryside, until the man reached a cliff. The man thought that he was going to die, so he curled up into a little ball, and waited for the monster.
Just then the monster came up and was right over top of him. The monster reached down and said, “Tag! You’re it! Happy Halloween!”
The weather guy says we have had more rain in this month of October than we have had since the mid-forties. There is water standing everywhere and the crops are rotting in the field. The are a lot of very unhappy farmers.
Michael T. and I had breakfast together. I ate more than I should have, as usual, and Michael had a sensible breakfast. We cussed and discussed the world as it is and repeated our wishes for the world as we would like it to be. I suppose that is the meat of discussion between friends around the world.

Sure hope the rain goes away for awhile!! I NEED to see some sunshine! Oh my...there is a shoe on that boy in the picture! ;)

Yes there is! Who knows why ... maybe they had to wear shoes to go to the store to get the pumpkins?

Cool pics. of Noah and Denise!!! What is that bright stuff outside???!!! Yippee!!! Sure hope the sun sucks up the extra water from the ground. My fans are now running in the basement with high hopes that the worst is over! (My back is really, really hoping I’m done again for awhile!)
