I spent some time cleaning off my desk yesterday. Even my dust had dust on it. I am pretty organized about some things but evidently not about the top of my desk.
They had their gift exchange at the clinic and Tracey got some candles that stink pretty and a nice little accent light to put on her dresser. She burned the candle a bit and the kitchen smells like spices or something frilly.
We stopped at the new Wendys in Pekin on our way home last evening. Big mistake. It would appear there was no training of most of the people behind the counter because it was total chaos.
The food wasnt too bad but the waiting and the service was terrible. We have decided we may go there for take-out but not to dine in. At least not for a while. Maybe the employees will eventually learn their jobs.

A cute winter poem forwarded to me from my Aunt Jackie:
Its winter in Illinois And the gentle breezes blow Seventy miles an hour At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Illinois When the snows up to your butt You take a breath of winter And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful So I guess Ill hang around I could never leave Illinois Cuz Im frozen to the ground!
