“Any plan I sign must include an insurance exchange -- a one-stop shopping marketplace where you can compare the benefits, costs, and track records of a variety of plans -- including a public option to increase competition and keep insurance companies honest.”

- Obummer - Weekly Radio Address - July 17th, 2009

So . . . what happened?

We all got some cool and interesting presents yesterday —— my favorite is a little hot plate for my coffee cop that is now sitting next to my computer on the right keeping my coffee just the right temperature.

A white Christmas eventually turned up too with a little snow dusting everything just before dark. Its not light outside yet but from what I can see on our patio it looks like we got some more overnight but not really too much.

We have lots of leftover turkey but have run out of bread so I probably need to run to get some today so we can continue eating turkey sandwiches. There’s also some peach and pumpkin pie left which won’t last through today I’m betting.
