A housewife in Tibet smelled something burning in the kitchen. When she rushed in and saw smoke pouring out of the oven she cried out, “Oh, my baking yak!”
B&A went to a Scholastic Bowl tournament last evening so we didn’t see them until just after 8 p.m. They seemed pretty happy with themselves so we gather it well for Tremont.
Tracey and I went to Avanti’s for supper and then we spent the rest of the evening working on connecting her Palm PDA with my computer and trying to get it all setup to be easier to use for her. Ever since Fresenius went to a web based email and calendering system Tracey hasn’t been able to transfer contacts, email or calendar events to her Palm so she hasn’t been using it as much. I couldn’t get her WiFi set up here at home. I think I discovered why this morning. The Internet wasn’t connected. Somehow the DSL modem “fell” off the back of Ben’s desk. I got him to crawl back there and fix it at 3:45 this morning and now everything works.
I just returned from taking Tracey to work. I have really spoiled her ... whenever the weather is cold like it is today she doesn’t want to walk to work from the far away parking lot they have her parking in. So I take her to work and she gets dropped off right at the door ... and when she comes home she climbs into a nice warm car. Oh Well, it’s not I like have anything more important to do.

Yep ... it’s OK though cuz he hadn’t gone to bed until 3 a.m. or so and wasn’t really sound asleep yet. I couldn’t climb back there and I didn’t knock the modem off. Soooooo ......

Oh yes they have school, they just left. They usually go right to bed as soon as they get home from school, then get up around 9 p.m. and stay up until all hours. Gotta GO! Breakfast with Michael T. in 15 minutes!

I used to do that--stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning, go to bed, wake up at 7 and leave by 7:20. I can’t do that crap now :P

I came across a video i thought i would share. Although he is a true canadian redneck, he is an average citizen and offers his opinion on usa vs. canada healthcare.Although I am a republican it is obvious we need healthcare reform. I thought it was worth the 5 minutes and makes you wonder if we will get healthcare or will it go to the byside while the media as a whole falsely reports about it.
