02/08/2010 Quote «The Legel Report»
Around the world we see organized religion standing in the way of faith.

Three people were trying to get into heaven.  Peter asked the first, “Who’s there?”

“It’s me, Albert Jones,” the voice replied.

St.  Peter let him in.

Then St.  Peter asked the second one the second same question, “Who’s there?”

“It’s me, Charlie Jones.”

And St.  Peter let him in.

Finally he turns to the third, asking the same question, “Who’s there?”

“It is I, Verla Chapman,” answered the third.

“Oh, great,” muttered St. Peter.  “Another one of those English teachers.”

There are some examples of Tracey’s knitting.  The one at bottom is a sock knitted to the proper size to fit her foot and the top one is much larger so she can “felt” it in the washing machine to make a slipper out of it.
Well the Superbowl is finally over and we will soon be through with the ad re-runs.  I sometimes think the goofy TV ads are more important to some people than the game is.  I gave up on all of it many years ago.

We are getting forecasts for lots of snow again but I would be surprised if we get that much on the ground.  We sure didn’t end up with much the last time they got all excited about snow.  The roads in Pekin are already so full of holes it is frightening.  It may be a while before we go on any scooter rides into Pekin.  Some of the holes could swallow us up because our front tires are so small.

I sure hope the snow misses us!!!
Well, I think I’ve finally caught Ashley’s cold.  I feel like a truck ran over me this morning.  That will make for a very long day with 4 and 5 year olds!!

Sorry to hear about the cold Tammy ... Ben is just now starting to feel good again after his sore throat.  So far the rest of us have not gotten it.
[Fingers crossed!]
