A&B will lose their health insurance unless they are full time students. They both plan to register at ICC soon so I thought I better call and find out what we have to do to keep them insured.

I was surprised to get the answer in one phone call and it sounds simple - almost too simple. The pleasant young lady on the phone told me all I have to do is call a couple weeks before their birthday and tell them what school they are going to and they will take care of it. Time will tell but I really hope it turns out to be that easy.


I got a statement from United Healthcare that says they aren’t paying the rent for my C-PAP breathing machine because the stupid medical supply people didn’t send the bill to the right place.

I expect to spend some time on the phone getting that straightened out. It’s no wonder health care is so expensive with all the red tape and screw-ups.
