What a wasted opportunity to get Single Payer National Health Care that turned out to be —— after all is said and done it may be the greatest gift to the #MedicalMafia ever. With no competition for insurance prices and no limits on insurance rates we will likely see things get much worse. If only the corporate minions in Congress had represented us instead of the Medical Mafia ——

I made a trip into Pekin yesterday to pick up some printer ink. That blasted printer goes through ink like grapes through a goose and I bet we have spent far more money on ink cartridges than we paid for the printer to begin with!

Well...up at 5, got the daughter to the high school by 6, now coffee!
Ashley is going with a high school group (Circle of Friends) to Chicago today. They are going to the Field Museum and Woodfield Mall. She’ll be back at 9:30 tonight. Long day!
I get to work tonight. We have our Open Houses tonight and tomorrow. I will be cleaning and hanging all the art work today, come home to shower and eat, and go back at 6 for the open house.
After the open house ends at 8:30, I will be Krogering! Then back up and out to the school by 8 for more open house fun.
Went to a meeting last night...kind of a “why are you cutting Ag and how can we save our Ag” meeting. It was a good meeting.
Of course, I didn’t keep my mouth shut! I was just going to be a wallflower and listen, but.....I just can’t!
There were 3 very helpful gentlemen there. Two were in Ag careers with lots of experience and know how. The other was from the state ag -- getting ag curriculum in schools and FFA programs. They made the meeting! I know we didn’t save our ag last night, but at least we’ll go down squealing! (no pun intended )

Holy smokes you are a busy girl today! I know about the “wallflower” thing —— me either. In fact I get so noisy Tracey and the boys would rather I stay home. I don’t know much about why you’re losing Ag, but if it is about high school —— I bet they aren’t losing football or basketball?

Well....goodness gracious....bite your tongue! A school without sports and music (I mean Marching Band!)....never!
The super. tried to tell us all that the number of kids interested and signed up for these 2 ag classes was low for next year -- 26.
Of course, I just happened to know that this year’s number is 30. So, I so nicely pointed out to all that that is only 4 less next year than this year!
Then he told us that Tremont, Pekin, E. Peoria, Washington, Deer Creek...doesn’t have an FFA/ag program any more. Well, I just HAD to pipe up and tell everyone that these towns haven’t had an FFA/ag program recently or if ever!
He was making it sound like all of those places cut their ag too for next year. UGH! I could go on and on, but I’d probably bore you or get you all fired up!
Andy was there and sitting kind of front of me, but next to me and he was teasing me saying he could feel the fire on his neck from me!

It is so aggravating isn’t it? Even worse when you start thinking these jokers pull down six figure salaries and there are about a dozen too many of them in every school district. They waste money like there is no tomorrow and pay for it by cutting education for the students. And then they LIE about it!? Oh Good Grief!
