#TremontSchool I just found out that Aaron and Ben will be taking their Advanced Placement (AP) tests at the Tremont Apostolic Church next Monday and Tuesday. This bothers me on several different levels.
First, we just put out several million dollars to renovate the school why isnt there enough room at the school to take these tests?
Second, why the church? Im not too excited about it being a church as opposed to some other building but why a church and why this church?
Finally, and most importantly, is the school district paying the church rent or some other fee for doing this? If so, that is entirely out of line (see my first point). All in all I have had more than enough church influence in the education of my children and I dont appreciate it.
I can see no reason why this action is necessary and can not feel good about how fitting it is that one of the last impositions my kids will have from this goofy school district is this stunt.
It bothered me that they made the kids pay to rent a place in Peoria for prom and now this. It stinks.

Did you know US has enough wind to provide nine times electricity we use today?
Yesterday started out pretty good. Tracey didnt have to go to work until a little after noon because she closed the clinic. We took a short morning nap before riding our scooters to Stake-A-Shake for a nice lunch. Tracey went on home and I went by the bank before going home.
I made the mistake of stopping to get the mail before going home though and the real estate tax bill was there. Ruined a few hours of my day after reading that damn thing. We pay all that money so they can tear up and re-pave good roads, ignore the roads that need repaved and re-build perfectly good school buildings.
