A zebra bolts from an enclosure after a herd was moved from a conservancy in the Kenyan Rift Valley in an effort to restock the Amboseli National Park. A drought last year killed off many of the park’s indigenous herbivores, leading predators to attack nearby livestock.
I discovered some Facebook entries from Ben & Tracey so I guess they have made it back to civilization. Looks like they are having a good time.
Mom, DD, Alan, Gloria and I went to the Cracked Barrel for supper last night. We paid the bill in honor of Mom’s upcoming birthday. She is usually adamant about paying it herself but this once she let us without an argument.
Aaron had Austin and Drake over to play video games yesterday. Aaron is practicing for his big video game tournament today in Peoria. I don’t remember (if he ever told me?) what the game is but he hopes to win the $100 prize.
