I walked out to the mailbox yesterday around 11 a.m. but the mail wasn’t there yet so I walked on out to the Dillon Creek bridge and back home. On the way home Tracey called to check up on me. I hadn’t heard her voice for a few days and it was nice to hear from her.

We lost some limbs from the big cottonwood by the road from the storm the night before and I spent some time cleaning those up and then went back out to the mailbox around 1 p.m. The mail was there and soaking wet. I am going to have to drill a drain hole in that mailbox. When the wind comes out of the north it blows rain into the box.

I also got a call from the insurance people and was told they would start ordering parts for the #Honda to be repaired. It sounds like it will be a couple weeks.

I talked to the young lady at the bank who originally worked on our home refinance. I still can’t get the last interest charges straightened out. I keep bothering them though. I wish I could talk with someone who understands simple mathematics AND has the authority to make the changes to fix this mess.
