I recently received a “Truck Report” from Jeff Teel via email.  You may recall Jeff shared with us his Bicycle Road Trip last year.  I asked Jeff for permission to publish the email information on his truck and he agreed to a slightly edited version leaving out some names and places.  I am very impressed with the dedication and loyalty Jeff has given this truck and for that reason alone decided such loving care requires sharing.  If you want to know all the dirty details you will have to contact Jeff and ask him!  This will be the last report on his old truck because after such long and loyal service Jeff finally had to trade it in for another.  I look forward to future reports on his new chariot.

This is 129,451 actual miles since December 17, 1994, when I bought the truck at 170,112 miles. March 13: Replaced power brake booster and master cylinder ($96.06).
March 31: Replaced front wheel rotors, bearings, grease, seals, cotter pins and brake pads ($116.13).
April 28: Replaced U-joints [front #354, back #434] ($19.19).
May 12: Replaced radiator ($180.40).
July 18: In need of front brake calipers and tires. Tahdra (Jeff’s wife) says it time to retire the truck.
July 24: Traded in for a 1990 Ford F150.
