A Bornean flat-headed frog, which has the rare characteristic of being an amphibian without lungs and instead breathes entirely through its skin, is one of the recent discoveries in Borneo. A lungless frog, a frog that flies, and a slug that shoots love darts, are among the 123 new species discovered in Borneo since 2007, the result of a three-nation project backed by the WWF to conserve one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
Hi Tracey —— to answer your question from last night —— I spent the night here in Amarillo, TX. I guess I wasn’t very clear in my mutterings yesterday!
I plan to eat lunch at the Route 66 Diner in Albuquerque today and spend tonight in Gallup, NM. Hope your day wasn’t too horrible yesterday and will be good today. I don’t know what your hours are today so I won’t call until you tell me.
I slept in a little later this morning because with the time change I will gain an hour heading west. I decided to spend that extra hour snoozing! And I got some real nice pillows for a change and they sleep good!

I’m finally settled into a room with an Internet connection. I got all settled in one room on the ground floor and no Internet. So I had to pack everything back into the car and move to the other end of the Motel 6 and then haul it up to this second floor room. I have got to have my Internet!

I don’t have too many photos today. The first one is crossing the Texas / New Mexico state lines as I entered New Mexico —— road construction and all across two states! The rest are of the Route 66 Diner where I had a good lunch!
