Don’t you just love changing your clocks twice a year? I wonder if we will ever get civilized enough to stop this nonsense because I am quite sick of it. It will be a week now before I stop waking up too early.

Tracey and I had supper with Alan, Gloria, DD and Mom last evening. We went to the Cracked Barrel, as usual, and it wasn’t too bad. Our waitress was a bit forgetful but I don’t think it was on purpose.

We had some discussion about the irony of living in this current society and how bamboozled many people seem to be by the corporations and their puppets in government. It can be quite discouraging if you let it get to you.

Lawmakers Discussing Dropping Health Care Program

In our conversation last night my sister DD mentioned an article she read where the author tried to blame scientists for sticking to facts as if making decisions based on emotion or “the wisdom of crowds” was acceptable in some way.

We tend to think of the Dark Ages when discussing scientific fallacies —— but for many people the world is still flat because they “feel like it”. This from DD ——

“This is the article I was talking about. More rhetoric —— beginning with a false premise and ending with an emotional & irrelevant opinion.”
