11/14/10 Quote «The Legel Report»
I prefer the wicked rather than the foolish.
The wicked sometimes rest.

This little cartoon reminds me quite a lot of part of our after dinner conversation last evening. DD is still sparing with management and HR at her job. I suspect workers everywhere have this attitude about the role of #HumanResources.

Speaking of which, the Cracked Barrel could use some decent HR people because the place was terribly SLOW. They seem to have a large number of new trainees.

Tracey went to the dog pound in Peoria after we ate lunch at IHOP in East Peoria yesterday. We drove separately and I went home while she went looking —— I’m not in the least interested in getting another dog and have been very resistant to getting involved with this endeavor. She didn’t bring a dog home with her.

I only managed to walk as far as the mailbox and back yesterday because it was so wet, windy and cold. It doesn’t look very promising out there again today.

Brother Alan called last night to invite us to breakfast this morning. My Aunt Marlene & Uncle Gene stopped by on their way back through and we are all getting together this morning at Woody’s in Groveland for breakfast.

Somewhere in the midst of my griping and complaining last evening at Mom’s I had to pause to mention this little graphic I saw in my travels through the Interwebs.

I often stop to think that no matter how bad I think I have it —— it could always be far worse. I realize this falls right in the middle of the “False Equivalency” test —— but I still thought I would share it.

To be honest I think that the cruise passengers can suck it up. When your story shows up next to a cholera epidemic you don’t have any room to talk about poor living conditions
