It is really nice to work on the Blog this morning without all those dag-nab #999 Error messages!
I have almost literally been holding my breath since yesterday afternoon for fear it was only a temporary fix or something. I have been able to breeze through my Blog updates without any trouble. I think it will be more fun again if this keeps up!

Yesterday was certainly nasty outside all the way around. I hope today is nicer. I can see by the weather report it is starting out colder. Let us hope it won’t rain all day. Or snow. Or sleet. Or —— anything else wet and bad.

#Obituary Irvin Kershner, who directed the Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back and the James Bond film Never Say Never Again, has died. He was 87.
I dropped Tracey off at work, went to the store, the bank and some other errands before coming home. I noticed walking across a parking lot that there were snow flakes in the air! Not really enough to even be called “flurries” but definitely ice crystals upon the breeze. Once again I wimped out of taking my walk due to the weather.

Typical politicians solution to budget deficits —— cut services by GIVING assets to private corporations to profit off of.
Wouldn’t you just love to be given a state park to rent out to people and provide no services? That’s what is happening to state parks across the country.
The property once protected by the money from taxpayers is given to a private enterprise (with maybe a kickback or two?) for little or no recompense and the taxes continue to be levied as if there was still a state park to go to instead of private reserve or shooting club.
More of the same GQP lies, misdirection and bullshit. They lie their way into office and then want to reward themselves and the rich by telling more lies about how giving tax breaks to the filthy rich will create jobs. They don’t bother to tell you those new jobs will be in Mexico, India, etc. None of them will be in America. It is such a shame people are so gullible as to listen to their bullshit and vote for them.
