8:30 a.m. 2½ miles
Another beautiful morning for my walk. There was a nice gentle
breeze. Not enough to move a flag but just enough to bring the smell of
freshly cut corn stalks. A green earthy smell of Autumn.
I noticed most of the corn that was alongside the road yesterday morning
was gone this morning. The critters must be having a feast collecting up
that stuff.
Somebody is always dumping something along the rural roads. There is
now some kind of foot stool or something dumped on Allentown Rd. I can
almost understand somebody tossing a dirty smelly baby diaper out the window
just to get away from the stench ... but the premeditated dumping of living room
furniture is just not right. I suppose we could pretend it just fell out
of the back of the truck. But then why wouldn’t somebody come back looking
for it?
LLAP,
Michael
