We got some rain yesterday and even a little bit of small hail —— but none of the bad weather that had been in the dire predictions. This is a good thing.
I did a little more mowing and have finally mowed everything at least once since we returned home —— now I have to start all over again. It won’t be so bad now though if I just keep up with it.

I’m just now reading the news about the tornado that tore through Joplin, MO, last night. I was just there a week ago! If the wedding had been a week later I would have been in the middle of a tornado which has killed almost a hundred people and destroyed almost a 3rd of the city of Joplin.

I saw the pictures and report on the Weather Channel this morning about Joplin........YIKES! I told Dave that you were just there spending the night! Unreal! So glad you were a week ahead of that!

Why do they call it the “Weather Channel” if they are going to run “Health Week —— Why we love to run” instead of real time footage of a major weather event? Ridiculous.

The TODAY Show has been showing footage...featured folks praying thier way through it at a gas station (posted on U Tube). I coldn’t watch. So awful and scary. Makes me wish I had a basenment.
