A car passes through a group of monkeys on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway near Indias Nadani forest. Deforestation in the area has made wildlife species homeless and monkeys have been the worst hit. Unable to find food and shelter, the monkeys have moved toward inhabited areas and can be seen on the highway expecting food from passersby and tourists.
I trimmed some trees yesterday as I threatened to do. I also managed to nick my left thumb with the saw. Nothing serious. Didnt even need a Band-aid. Just enough to warrant some foul language. Tracey says I cant do anything without getting a little blood on it and she is too often correct.
While I was hacking at trees and mowing grass Tracey got out the weed-eater and did some mayhem herself. If only all this intimidating behavior would convince the grass, trees and weeds to stop growing. Nope.
Tracey and I started a Harry-Potter-A-Thon over the weekend. We watched Number 3 last evening and will continue until we get to the latest one that just came out.

Sounds like my day was like yours. I headed outside at 9:00 and didnt come in til 8:00!
I mowed, cleaned out a flower bed so I could plant flowers, and then finished off with planting the garden. I still have some empty garden space...OH NO...that never happens! Ill have to fix that soon!
