First, I want to acknowledge that Tammy was the only person to post a comment yesterday. I got so caught up in my day’s affairs I neglected by own blog! Thank You Tammy!
I spent a good deal of time yesterday trying to figure out why my darn mower won’t start. And I could hear the grass growing while I was studying the problem. What I had originally thought was a problem with the battery or charging system now appears to be something wrong with the numerous idiot switches that won’t allow the engine to start or run. Most of the electrical system appears to be designed to keep any one of five different switches in play so some idiot doesn’t cut of his feet or hands or get run over. (Insert screams of curse and blasphemy.)
Alan, Glo, Tom, DD, Mom and I went to the Cracked Barrel for supper. Tracey had to work and couldn’t join us.

Hi Tammy, We got some time outside but it was mostly in the garage where Tracey and I have spent about an hour or two troubleshooting the mower. We have managed to take apart three of the five idiot switches and test them with a 12V circuit check light. We think we have narrowed the problem down to the starter solenoid but pooped out before we got any further. We went to Pekin for some lunch and to Menard’s to get a small wrench set (mine seems to have walked off into hiding somewhere?). We just got home and it is NAP TIME!

Just found out the puppy that we’re watching isn’t going home today...so no “company” coming! Outside I go!
Sure wish I could “train” the hubby to do the laundry, etc. He likes being inside vs. outside. Well, unless he’s on the motorcycle. That’s where he is right now. At least he’s being productive and going to get some things at Lowes.
